Brian Lee Crowley, the author of Fearful Symmetry, is the founding president of the Atlantic Institute for Market Studies (AIMS), a public policy think tank in Halifax. In November he will be leaving AIMS to start a brand new national non-partisan public policy think tank in Halifax, the Macdonald-Laurier Institute. A former Clifford Clark Visiting Economist at Finance Canada and member of the Editorial Board at the Globe and Mail, Brian was named one of the 100 most influential people in Ottawa in 2007 by the Hill Times.
