Brock Eldon is Associate Editor of C2C Journal. Born and raised in Owen Sound, Ontario, Eldon earned his B.A. and M.A. in English Language and Literature from Western University and Queen’s University, respectively. Inspired to write – and to see the world – he began his time overseas teaching English and writing in East and Southeast Asia beginning in South Korea, China and Vietnam, with experience in more than ten other countries. He settled in Hanoi, Vietnam, where in 2018 he earned a position teaching English for University and Foundations in Literature at RMIT University, which he held until early 2024.
In his debut nonfiction novella, Ground Zero in the Culture War, published in autumn 2023, Eldon documented the academic disappointment he experienced in Canada. He continues to write tirelessly, in search – through the written word – of solace through truth. His voice can be heard weekly on Spotify as narrator of the C2C Journal Spotify Podcast. Eldon lives in Hanoi with his wife and daughter.
