Ian Brodie teaches political science at the University of Calgary. Previously he was Chief of Staff to Prime Minister Stephen Harper and Executive Director of the Conservative Party of Canada. His second book, At the Centre of Government: The Prime Minister and the Limits on Political Power, was an Amazon Canada Politics bestseller. His first book was entitled Friends of the Court: The Privileging of Interest Group Litigants in Canada.
