The series unflinchingly, if a bit woodenly, portrays Second World War strategic bombing missions carried out by the U.S. Air Force (with a nod to Britain’s Royal Air Force), whose young aircrews withstood horrific casualties to carry on undaunted.

Yay Brexit!
