Writing in Quillette, Josh Morrison reviews a new book on former U.S. President Donald Trump’s highly-successful Covid-19 vaccination development program – Operation Warp Speed. The key to this triumph, observes Morrison, was to “unleash the creative magic of private profit-seeking actors” while keeping government agencies and bureaucrats out of the way as much as possible.
