Sam Routley is a PhD student in Political Science at the University of Western Ontario in London, Ontario. His research interests broadly focus on political parties, leadership, democratic institutions and conservative political thought, predominantly in Canada. He also regularly contributes a variety of pieces on political topics, appearing in The National Post, The Conversation, The Hub, The Hill Times, The American Conservative and C2C Journal, among others. Prior to grad school, he spent time on Parliament Hill and at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario.
