Lindsy Danzinger

Born and raised in Ottawa, Lindsy Danzinger deferred university to spend a year in Sydney, Australia, then deferred university again to work for a year in London, England. She finally enrolled in Stern College for Women in New York City, attended one day of student orientation, and promptly dropped out to take a job in youth work in Long Beach, California. To her parents’ dismay, she never re-enrolled in university but instead married her husband, also from Ottawa, in Venice, Italy. She worked as a school secretary before leaving to homeschool, where she also worked remotely for a Jewish community centre. When the job of homeschooling is done, Danzinger hopes to finally make her mother happy and pursue some form of formal education. Her articles have been published in Feminist Current and C2C Journal. She lives in Toronto with her husband, a high school teacher, and their three children.
