Mark Milke Ph. D., is president of the Aristotle Foundation for Public Policy. Mark is a public policy analyst, author, and columnist with six books and dozens of studies in the last 25 years. His policy work has been published by think tanks including the Fraser Institute, Frontier Centre, the Montreal Economic Institute, Canadian Energy Centre, Canadian Taxpayers Federation, Cardus, American Enterprise Institute, Heritage Foundation, and the Centre for European Studies. Mark spent two years with a major donor to help create an internal guideline for free market/freedom-oriented giving in North America; he is also the co-founder of the think tank SecondStreet.Org.
His volunteer activity includes being president of the Sir Winston Churchill Society of Calgary since 2016 and he is a past-president of Civitas, A Society of Ideas. Mark’s columns have appeared in the Globe and Mail, National Post, and Maclean’s. Mark’s newest book, The Victim Cult: How the culture of blame hurts everyone and wrecks civilizations is an Amazon bestseller. Mark’s Ph.D. is in International Relations and Political Philosophy (University of Calgary). Born and raised in Kelowna, British Columbia, Mark lives in Calgary and is an active hiker, skier, and runner with an interest in architecture, photography, cities, and history.
